Has anyone heard of Tartan Publishing?

I am checking into becoming an MT. Recently, my area paper had an ad from Tartan Publishing. After you take their at-home course, you get a certificaiton.

If anyone knows anything about them, can you please tell me what you think? It's too much money to spend and then find out that a possible future employer will not hire me.

They do have a website, www.tartanpublishing.com and they have a good report from the BBB. But I just know if I should go with an at-home course or check into a local college.
