My daughter will be graduating from college in December. She's asked me to help her with her resume for a job fair at the one school district in a few weeks.
For clients I usually have no problems making recommendations and setting things up. However, since this is so close to home my head is not as clear on some issues and I'd appreciate some input.
My daughter has had two semesters of work with one school district as part of her degree program (professional development studies and student teaching). Is it o.k. to list this? What about the substitute teaching she did when not attending class?
She has a strong GPA. Should it be listed? And, if so, where?
We find out soon if she passed the final testing component to get her teaching certificate (fingers are crossed!). Do you think in the meanwhile it would be o.k. to list something like:
State of Texas, Teaching Certification (All exams taken)
