If you just want to work on the side and maybe pick up a client or two, try going through the classifieds of your local legal newspaper, if there is one. Call attorneys, ask if they have a need for outsourcing transcription. If you don't want to cold call, write a letter of introduction and send it to attorneys and/or court reporters in your area.
