Thanks for your feedback. I joined WBN (Women's Business Network) and our Chamber of Commerce.
It has only been one month since joining these groups. I haven't had any referrals yet. I do have one of the ladies that belong request some work to be performed.
I agree with what you are saying. It does take networking. I tried a new approach with is direct sales marketing. I mailed out my sales letters on Friday and had one call yesterday. Though it's too early to tell how effective it was, it seems to be working. It was a male as well.
I don't think only targeting men is the ideal way to go. I have received calls from other people and all the calls were from women. Since there are a lot of women owned businesses that specialize in a large variety of businesses I think my services will be appealing to them as well.
Time will tell. Thank you for your feedback. It is greatly appreciated.
