For instance if your computer and the client's computer both had PC Anywhere you could dial up to the client's computer and open files, programs, etc., just as if you were sitting at their computer.
There should be reviews of this type software out on the net. I've not used it personally, but know of people who have and were very happy with it. Reviews I've read on it have generally been very favorable.
One suggestion: check to ensure that the two computers you want to run this on are using the same operating system (both Win '95 or Win '98) and have the same version of PC Anywhere. I'm not certain, but my guess is this could impact the communication abilities if things don't match up.
