Yes, I sure do hate it too. Often in Maine, they say my price is too high.
Sounds like you did the right thing. Remember six months of work is worth a lot. Even if you feel you bid too low you will getting valuable experience with this new company.
When I do quotes, I always ask for more because I know that they are going to dicker with me up here in Maine.
I hope the economy everywhere else is as it
has been in New England. They can't find enough people to do clerical work. This is the time to convince companys that you can do plenty of their clerical work for them working from home.
