My business is small, also. Your question has prompted me to consider calling Pacific Bell and asking the cost for a one-liner in the white and YP. I'm thinking of switching the business line to a regular line, to help reduce my phone bill. Who knows, by the time you figure the monthly cost of the business line phone bill (and accessories, like VM or call waiting), it might end up being cheaper keeping your residence line and getting the "regular" one liners. Shoot, I'm paying $21.95/month for VM and our residence VM is only $7.95/month! I guess the phone company thinks businesses, regardless of the size, can afford the higher payments. Thanks for making my brain think again, Valerie!!

Another thing to remember about a business line is that you are charged for EVERY call. I use the home phone for local calls and mine for others.

It's susan@typeright.com. When I have a question regarding the board, I just e-mail her directly. Unless she's swamped, I get a reply within four hours tops.
