Using HTML tags. I'm just learning a little bit here and there.
To change the color you put a less than sign "<" then type in "font color = red" (without the quote marks) and then close with a greater than sign ">". To turn the color off, use a less than sign, a forward slash, and then the words "font color" and a closing greater than sign.
For bold you use a "b" sandwiched between the less than and greater than signs and a "/b" to turn off. Italics you use and "i".
These commands work for this board. Now as far as emails, I'm not certain. I think it depends on the email package of the sender as well as receiver.
