Grandma attributes her long life to eating lots of fruits and vegetables, working hard and getting plenty of rest! She didn't want gifts but my aunt asked everybody to bring roses (Grandma loves flowers) trying to get 100 roses. Well, she ended up with over 150 roses!
My girls are 8 and 10 and I was amazed at how well-behaved they were for such a long drive. We did buy them plenty of books and activities and told them it was a test to see if they were ready to drive to Disneyland, which is the same amount of driving in the opposite direction. They passed the test so now we've got to start saving for that! :-)
