My goodness! Weddings and milestone birthdays!! Makes my weekend seem like work.
Saturday afternoon, hubby and I played chaperone when my daughter's girlfriend, and eventually the girlfriend's male friend, came over. In the evening, we watched a video called "Lucky Luke." FUNNY! Was a good, clean movie. Sunday, since hubby worked in the morning and my son had a previous engagement, my daughter and I met my brother, his wife, and our Mama for Mama's birthday celebration at a local restaurant. Then, daughter and I took her home and picked up my MIL. Both mothers are a bit dingy now, so we never know what to expect. On top of all that, MIL has Parkinson's and needs help with just about everything she does. So I guess I had a "working" weekend.
Next weekend, my daughter is going to another girlfriend's Sweet Sixteen BD party. Son might stay the night at his friend's house. Hey, hubby and I will actually be alone!
