Yeah, it occurred to me to post a message there in case anyone tried to access my main site. My client doesn't even have a computer or know the page exists, yet, so I wasn't worried about that. This problem actually brought up an issue with my web server that I wasn't aware of.
There was a misunderstanding when I explained to the sales department what it was that I wanted to do. They treated my request as what's called a "Parked Domain", when it was actually a "Shared Virtual Account". A parked domain is where a second or more domains point to the same I.P. address as the first. To do this would have been a flat fee of $30 per additional domain. A shared virtual account is where several domains point to their own separate sub-directories of the web site. Normally, this would have cost me a flat fee of $50 for the setup and an additional $10 a month to share my account with each additional domain. Because this wasn't explained to me by the sales people when I ordered the domain and pointer, they only charged me the $30 and waived the extra monthly charge. Sometimes, good things come with the bad.
